I milled some boat pulls for a friend --- I did the portion that has a hole where you can stick your fingers, and my friend will do the rest.
The cuts were 2mm at time, with a feed rate of 400mm/minute. The best spindle RPM was 4000 --- if you went higher than that you'd scorch the wood.
